SUNDAY SONGWRITERS’ SHOWCASE
at the WINE LAB, 488 Lincoln St., Eugene

The NEVEREVER Band is proud to present songwriter and entertainer PETER GIRI, on Sunday, March 22, at our
Sunday Songwriters’ Showcase.

Starting at 2PM, we will join Peter, who will perform as a solo artist as well as joining our band for a set and we’ll provide back-up during his sets.
Peter is fun and his songs range from light-hearted to insightful.
His original songs and select cover songs, done in his unique style, are sure to make for a relaxing and enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
Combined with the delightful harmonies and multi-instrumental skills of Kathy & Kriss of the NeverEver Band, the mix of styles and the musical variety is sure to please, so we hope to see you there!

Here’s a brief background of Peter’s long musical career:
Peter began his musical career with the band “Cowboy”, from 1969 – 1971, on the Capricorn label out of Macon, Georgia. Capricorn produced two Cowboy albums, and the band toured extensively on the east coast, opening for the Allman Brothers Band at various venues, and opening for Spirit and Jethro Tull at the Fillmore East in 1971.
Cowboy was a folk/country/rock band with great songwriting; Eric Clapton chose “Please Be With Me” for his “416 Ocean Blvd.” album.
Later, Peter moved to central Florida, playing local clubs, Disney, and Universal. Now, we’re fortunate to have his immense talent here in Eugene!
